Trio of Advisors Joins Urban Catalyst

We are excited to announce that we have added three new advisors to our board to round out our expertise in all levels of real estate ranging from tech tenant improvements, market research, and urban design.

Joe Mannina serves as Vice Chairman at Real Capital Analytics, and will focus on assisting with market data and research into the UC portfolio of properties. He brings more than 30 years of entrepreneurial experience and is highly skilled at growing successful revenue (SaaS) businesses.

Brett Houston is a network technologist in CRE and CEO of Optio Development Inc, which focuses on the business of information technology (IT). He brings more than three decades navigating the relationship between IT and commercial real estate. He will be advising Urban Catalyst on building technology and systems.

Jeff Current, AIA, is the Principal of Studio Current in Silicon Valley, with more than 30 years’ experience in architecture and urban planning. An expert in urban infill mixed-use projects, he will focus on user experience relating to project design and programming.

Erik Hayden

Responsible for developing more than $3.5 billion in real estate projects, including over 2,300 residential units in the California Bay Area, Mr. Hayden has experience in acquisition, contract negotiation, due diligence, risk assessment, financing, construction, and disposition of multifamily, single family and large mixed-use and master planned developments. He maintains relationships with a broad network of property owners, enabling him to identify and acquire prime investments. Mr. Hayden also has expertise in navigating projects through the entitlement process by working with elected officials, community groups, and political organizations to gain support and get projects approved.
